Life outside the screen
Coffee roasting, motorcycle maintenance, and whatever else pulls my attention. The same curiosity that drives my design work shows up here too.
Interest 01
Running Artifacts Coffee taught me that roasting is as much about process and precision as any design project. Single-origin beans, controlled profiles, weekly batches. The feedback loop between what you do and what you taste is immediate and honest.
Interest 02
There's something satisfying about diagnosing a mechanical problem and fixing it with your hands. Bikes teach you that every system is connected — pull one thread and something else moves. Good training for systems design.
Interest 03
Building things, fixing things, exploring ideas. The common thread is curiosity — the same thing that led to a BCom in IT management, to designing full-stack web systems, to roasting coffee. Whatever pulls the attention gets the full attention.
"All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, 'God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.' Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time."
